Volunteer Opportunities
Grassroots Advocacy
- Attend congressional town halls and public meetings
- Meet with your local representatives and their staff
- Speak at public comment hearings on rail issues
- Write letters to the editor about passenger rail
Local & Regional Leadership
- Help organize or lead a local rail passenger association chapter
- Represent Rail Passengers at regional transportation planning meetings
- Monitor and report on local Amtrak service and station conditions
Digital Advocacy
- Share Rail Passengers content on social media
- Write blog posts or analysis for our communications team
- Help monitor on-time performance data for your corridor
Event Support
- Assist with our annual conference and regional events
- Help staff our exhibit booth at transportation conferences
- Support member recruitment drives
